You never know what lies behind an unopened door. Audra Goetz flung the door wide open when she trading a banking career for dirty diapers and spit up stained shirts. Embracing this change and finding inspiration in the curiosity, playfulness and innocence of her children, Audra started painting.

What started as a few paintings for her children’s room has blossomed into Pane In The Glass Studio. Fast forward several years and Audra has expanded her interests to include kiln formed glass and jewelry making. Audra specializes in making unique art that is both functional and beautiful

Audra was raised outside of Rochester, New York and loves the endless fields, inspiring flower gardens and the beautiful fall foliage. Audra hates the cold winters and blizzards and headed for warmer weather after graduating from college with a Psychology degree.


Audra currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and devotes most of her days to caring for their 3 young children. She enjoys sharing her talents and teaches jewelry making and kiln formed glass classes at her favorite local bead shop; Beadlush. She also offers in home jewelry parties and jewelry making parties. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening and relaxing with a glass of wine.
